THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT!!

LIFE-U - NEW Session - "Foundations of Faith" - Begins this Wednesday and will continue each Wednesday 7 pm for 8 weeks

For this session we will be using the Study Book - "Getting a Grip on the Basics" which you can purchase at the Church for $5.

PLEASE COMPLETE CHAPTERS 1 & 2 PRIOR TO CLASS

Attendance in this course will be required for all those that desire to volunteer at Lifeway Church. It is a must that we all be on the "same page" spiritually as we move forward in growth!

YOUTH - YOUNG ADULT Meeting

THIS FRIDAY - JANUARY 8th (6:30pm - 10:30 pm) there will be a meeting of Youth and Young Adults at the Rhodes home. (412 Shoshone Ct. Auburn, GA 30011)

Pizza and a discussion about the vision for the Youth Ministry are on the agenda! (We will play games at the end for those who care to stay.) We need you!

Men's Breakfast this Saturday!

Men's Breakfast will be held this Saturday at the church at 8 am. We will have great food, great fellowship and a great time of study of the Word.

Don't miss, tell your wife to remind you! See you there!

2009 Contributions

Thank you for your faithful giving in 2009! We will have an update during the service on January 31st regarding the finances of Lifeway Church. God is blessing our obedience to His Word!

You will be receiving a receipt of your yearly giving in amounts over $100 no later than January 31, 2010

Word Supply Project Update

Purpose: "Provide a CD copy at the end of the service to everyone that wants one FREE of charge!" (as well as anyone that contacts us wanting one...FREE)

Price: $590 for Duplicator (will duplicate 7 copies at a time in 4 minutes CLICK HERE for details)

Current: $425 has been given to date! ($165 left!)

Pray and believe with us that the need will be met. There is a SOW A SEED Box on the Word Supply shelf in the back of the Sanctuary that you can put your seed in or you can send an offering designated to "Word Supply CD Project" or write "CD Project" on your offering envelope. PRAYER!

CORPORATE PRAYER is growing! This past Saturday afternoon there were 13 people! (A new attendance record) More prayer, more fruit! Thank you all for catching the vision and giving yourself in prayer. It makes a HUGE difference!

Challenge yourself! Reach, stretch and press forward.

Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. – Matthew 12:13 NKJV

Jesus healed the man with the withered hand but first asked the man to do something in faith. At Jesus command he stretched out his hand. I can imagine that the man did not want to even show his hand. Most people with a withered hand want to cover it up and hide it out of embarrassment. But Jesus asked this man to do what he could do and with that action Jesus did what only He could do. His power totally restored the man’s hand.

In this new year of 2010 God wants us to begin to do things that we have never done before! But we have to stretch and reach out. We have to take a step of faith and do what we know that we should do. Even though what you must do might be something that you do not want to do and might be embarrassing to you, the power of God will meet you and cause you to succeed!

Ask the Lord what He would have you to do this year. Do something that you have never done before. STRETCH! Lose that 30 pounds that you have been needing to lose, pay off all the credit cards, establish a time of daily prayer and study of God’s Word, love your family like never before. Do it! Just stretch and God will meet you and His power will cause you to succeed.

• Pray for all the churches in Auburn, Carl, Winder, Dacula that they would experience a supernatural spiritual hunger like never before.
  
  
• Pray for our Troops and their families.
  
  
• Pray for missionaries everywhere that they would experience the provision of God to continue to preach and teach the gospel. And that God would continue to protect those who are in dangerous situations.
