"DESIRE SPIRITUAL GIFTS - "Baptism in the Holy Spirit"
The Word of God instructs us to earnestly desire spiritual gifts. Spiritual gifts come from the God by His Spirit to us. We need to know more about the Holy Spirit and understand about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This experience is something that He leads us into and not forces upon us. There is power that God wants us to have!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS SLOWING DOWN!!
LIFE-U - NEW Session - "Foundations of Faith" - Continues each Wednesday 7 pm for 8 weeks (Jan. 6 - March 31)
For this session we will be using the Study Book - "Getting a Grip on the Basics" which you can purchase at the Church for $5.50.
We realize that we were moving through the book a little too fast and have decided to slow down. Last week we made it half way through chapter 4 and should complete chapter 4 and move into chapter 5 this week.
PLEASE COMPLETE CHAPTERS 4 & 5 PRIOR TO CLASS
(Attendance in this course will be required for all those that desire to volunteer at Lifeway Church. It is a must that we all be on the "same page" spiritually as we move forward in growth!)
LIFELINE STUDENT MINISTRIES
THIS FRIDAY - JANUARY 22nd (6:30pm - 10:30 pm) there will be a meeting of Youth and Young Adults at the Rhodes home. (412 Shoshone Ct. Auburn, GA 30011)

Family Fellowship Luncheon this Sunday
This Sunday will be our Fellowship Luncheon immediately after the service. This month's "theme" is SOUP or CASSAROLE. Bring your favorite soup or cassarole and join us!
MEMBERSHIP CLASS SCHEDULED
If the Lord has been speaking to you about becoming a member of Lifeway our next Membership Class will be held on February 14th immediately after the morning service. The class will last approximately an hour and a half. (Lunch will be provided)
2009 Contributions
Thank you for your faithful giving in 2009! We will have an update during the service on January 31st regarding the finances of Lifeway Church. God is blessing our obedience to His Word!
You will be receiving a receipt of your yearly giving in amounts over $100 no later than January 31, 2010
Word Supply Project Update
Purpose: "Provide a CD copy at the end of the service to everyone that wants one FREE of charge!" (as well as anyone that contacts us wanting one...FREE)
DUPLICATOR HAS BEEN PAID FOR!
Now that the duplicator is on the way all financial seeds that are sown to the Word Supply in the "SOW A SEED" Box (located on the Word Supply shelf in the back of the Sanctuary) will be used to purchase blank CD's, labels, envelopes and supplies needed to grow the Word Supply. We are sowing and believing for a HARVEST! Thank you for believing with us!
SAVE the DATE Ladies!
Lifeway Ladies Night this month will be a special time. We will meet at the JD Withers Building at 6:30 pm on the 29th of January.
There will be inspiring special testimony from Linda Blechinger that you will not want to miss! Bring a friend or two and come expecting to receive.
Service Time CHANGE - FEBRUARY!
Change is GOOD! (say that 20 times!..or more)
Beginning February 7th we will begin Sunday AM service at 10 AM. Get ready for growth!
Couples Banquet - Feb 5th
Make plans to attend the Couples Banquet on February 5th at 6:30 pm. It will be held at the JD Withers Building and will be catered. The cost is $30 a couple (please make checks payable to Lifeway Church and give to Susan Childs)
It will be a great time that you will not want to miss! See you there!
Guest Speaker - March 28th
Marty and Lola Blackwelder will be ministering at Lifeway on Sunday March 28th at 10 am and 6 pm. These will be special services and we are preparing and praying now that God will do great things!
