WEDNESDAY NIGHT

LIFE-U - NEW Session - "Foundations of Faith" - Continues each Wednesday 7 pm for 8 weeks (Jan. 6 - March 31)

For this session we will be using the Study Book - "Getting a Grip on the Basics" which you can purchase at the Church for $6.

The comments from the people that are attending the class have been astounding! It is literally revolutionizing the Lifeway Church Family. The deeper we go, the deeper we want to go!

PLEASE COMPLETE CHAPTER 8 PRIOR TO CLASS

(Attendance in this course will be required for all those that desire to volunteer at Lifeway Church. It is a must that we all be on the "same page" spiritually as we move forward in growth!) CD's are available of all classes to catch up on any classes that you might have missed.

MEN'S BREAKFAST THIS SATURDAY

Saturday morning at 8 am we will eat together, pray together and share the Word! Great time for fellowship and "iron sharpening iron"

Men make sure that you are there at the church for this monthly meeting. (each second Saturday of each month)

MEMBERSHIP CLASS THIS SUNDAY

If the Lord has been speaking to you about becoming a member of Lifeway our next Membership Class will be held THIS SUNDAY immediately after the morning service. The class will last approximately an hour and a half. (Lunch will be provided)

PLEASE RSVP if you plan to attend this membership class please complete the REGISTRATION FORM to inform us that you will be attending, this will help us to plan for the amount of food needed. Thanks!

CHAIR PROJECT UPDATE

Purpose: To buy 100 new chairs for the Sanctuary!

Cost: $35.95 each / $3,795 (which includes freight)

Current Status: 10 Purchased! (needing another 15 to be purchased by this Friday to send the 25% deposit to the manufacturer)

Marty and Lola Blackwelder will be ministering at Lifeway on Sunday March 28th at 10 am and 6 pm. These will be special services and we are preparing and praying now that God will do great things!

LOVE MONTH

We think of February as "Love Month" due to the fact that Valentine's Day happens to be in February.

So I wanted to share with you a recent lifeSupport post from last week that I wrote that received a lot of hits.

ABOUNDING LOVE

How’s your love level?

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, – 1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NKJV)

And may the Master pour on the love so it fills your lives and splashes over on everyone around you, just as it does from us to you. (The Message)

We need a revival of love in the marriages in the Body of Christ! Not the oowee goowe feelings of love that make you warm and fuzzy. Not the romantic love that just pleases your flesh. But the true, down deep committed love that endures all things! The type of love that believes the best and stands in the face of adversity and declares I WIN!

In the above verse Paul (by the Holy Spirit) was praying that the church would increase to the point that they would overflow with the love of God! Now that is powerful because there is nothing that can overpower the love of God!

God’s love to us and in us and through us is the most powerful force on the earth today! When we walk in love and live the love life that God has intended for us we will begin to see all of our relationships turn around and begin to produce fruit. No matter how good your marriage is (or if you are single…your friendships) they can be better! We can take it up a notch, right? How are we going to do it? Through the love of God and allowing that love to abound and overflow in us until it splashes over on everyone that we come in contact with. Discover more about the love of God…go to 1 Corinthians 13 and meditate, ask the Lord to show you so that you can walk in a greater level of love.

Also, you married couples remember that OPERATION APPRECIATION is going on this month so make sure to use your post-it notes to tell and show your spouse your love!

Pray that:

• God would continue to give the Pastors and leadership at Lifeway clear direction


• All the members of Lifeway Church...and visitors! More, more, more growth numerically, spiritually and financially!


• The Lord of the Harvest would send laborers into the Harvest!
  
  
• Pray for Mayor Linda Blechinger, Council Members and City Employees of Auburn that they would walk in wisdom and favor. And that they would continue to create an atmosphere for growth and change in our city.
  
  
• Auburn Police Department, Chief Brown, all staff members and officers that they would walk in wisdom, strength and divine protection.
  
• Pray for all the churches in Auburn, Carl, Winder, Dacula that they would experience a supernatural spiritual hunger like never before.
  
  
• Pray for our Troops and their families.
  
  
• Pray for missionaries everywhere that they would experience the provision of God to continue to preach and teach the gospel. And that God would continue to protect those who are in dangerous situations.
  


• Youth Ministry and Children's Ministry, growth and direction


• Barrow and Gwinnett County businesses would prosper
