OPERATION: Christmas Blessing 09!

This year for Christmas we are reaching out to be a blessing for our community! The Word commands us to do good unto all men, especially to those that are of the "household of faith". If you know of someone that is a member or may attend Lifeway Church that is in need this Christmas season please let Pastor Sheila know by sending an email to srhodes@lifewaychurch.us. Furthermore, if you know of someone that lives near our Church (or close proximity) that would be blessed by our giving please get us this info as well.

We are NOW receiving canned goods (and other items) in order to build "blessing boxes" for those in need. Please bring your donations to church and deposit them in the recepticle located in the large Fellowship/Class Room.

Word Supply Project Update

Purpose: "Provide a CD copy at the end of the service to everyone that wants one FREE of charge!" (as well as anyone that contacts us wanting one...)

Price: Duplicator that will duplicate 7 copies at a time in 4 minutes for a price of $590. (CLICK HERE for details)

Current: $225 has been given to date! (Praise God almost half way there!)

LOVE like Jesus...

There are two main characteristics of a mature Christian - Truth and Love.

Jesus is the Truth! (John 14:6) And God is Love! (1 John 4:8)

The more mature we grow, the more like Jesus we become and the more truth we will speak and the more we will walk in love!

We can do it because Jesus lives in us! No more trying to use the excuse, "well, I'm just human and God knows that I am not Jesus..." These statements are cop outs to stay immature and to keep from doing the Word. Remember that there is no excuse for sin! There is forgiveness and cleansing,...but no excuse. God created us to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and do the Word all the time! We can love like Jesus loved as we grow up!

The more spiritually mature that we become, the more effective for God that we become. God has been waiting on us to come up to the next level of maturity. It has always been available for those who are willing to feed themselves the Word and then go out and exercise the Word (do it!).

The love of God is in you...and it is waiting to flow through you and touch the lives of everyone that you come in contact with! Let's grow and GO!

• Pray for the Mayor, Council Members and City Employees of Auburn that they would walk in wisdom and favor. And that they would continue to create an atmosphere for growth and change in our city.
  
• Pray for all the churches in Auburn, Carl, Winder, Dacula that they would experience a supernatural spiritual hunger like never before.
  
  
• Pray for our Troops and their families.
  
  
• Pray for missionaries everywhere that they would experience the provision of God to continue to preach and teach the gospel. And that God would continue to protect those who are in dangerous situations.
  


• Our new facilities - growth numerically, spiritually and financially


• Youth Ministry and Children's Ministry, growth and direction


• Barrow and Gwinnett County businesses would prosper
