END OF YEAR GIVING -2009 Contributions

In order for you to claim a deduction for contributions in 2009, all tithes and offerings must be received in our office by December 31 of this year.

You will be receiving a receipt of your yearly giving in amounts over $100 no later than January 31, 2010.

PRAY IN 2010!

Join us this Thursday on New Years Eve for a great time of fellowship, food and praying in the New Year.

We will begin at 8 pm and finish just after midnight as we pray in the New Year. (Please bring finger foods)

This will be a special time for us individually and as a church body as the Lord has some encouraging things to share to challenge us. Please make plans to attend.

LIFE-U - NEW Session - "Foundations of Faith" - Each Wednesday 7 pm for 8 weeks

NEXT WEDNESDAY - JANUARY 6th we will begin a new session entitled - "Foundations of Faith". For this session we will be using the Study Book - "Getting a Grip on the Basics" which you can purchase at the Church for $5.

Attendance in this course will be required for all those that desire to volunteer at Lifeway Church. It is a must that we all be on the "same page" spiritually as we move forward in growth!

YOUTH - YOUNG ADULT Meeting

NEXT FRIDAY - JANUARY 8th (6:30pm - 10:30 pm) there will be a meeting of Youth and Young Adults at the Rhodes home. (412 Shoshone Ct. Auburn, GA 30011)

Pizza and a movie are on the agenda as well as discussion about the vision for the Youth Ministry! We need you!

Word Supply Project Update

Purpose: "Provide a CD copy at the end of the service to everyone that wants one FREE of charge!" (as well as anyone that contacts us wanting one...FREE)

Price: $590 for Duplicator (will duplicate 7 copies at a time in 4 minutes CLICK HERE for details)

Current: $400 has been given to date! (less than $200 left!)

Pray and believe with us that the need will be met. There is a SOW A SEED Box on the Word Supply shelf in the back of the Sanctuary that you can put your seed in or you can send an offering designated to "Word Supply CD Project" or write "CD Project" on your offering envelope. Out With the Old

Moving forward is a great thing!

"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead," – Philippians 3:13 NKJV

There is one thing required to go forward…leave the past in the past. Yesterday’s manna stinks. We must move toward all that God has for us today. Living for the moment is what we as Christians need to have as our goal. (in the sense that we are ever sensitive to do exactly what the Lord wants us to do at every moment!) Tomorrow is not here yet and yesterday is gone forever.

Let’s determine to go into 2010 with everything from 2009 left in the past. (except for the lessons that we learned, of course) God has great things for us just ahead. He wants us to keep moving and keep pressing on. We have a bright future full of faith adventures and faith victories! BUT, we must quit looking behind us, quit pointing to our past failures AND successes! Don’t allow the devil to point out your past to you, be bold and point out his future to him and he will back off quick!

2010 is your year of victory! Determine to shut the door on the past and walk through the new door just ahead. Move into 2010 with God! Pray IN 2010 and experience all that God has for you this next year!

• God would continue to give the Pastors and leadership at Lifeway clear direction


• All the members of Lifeway Church...and visitors! More, more, more growth numerically, spiritually and financially!


• The Lord of the Harvest would send laborers into the Harvest!
  
  
• Pray for Mayor Linda Blechinger, Council Members and City Employees of Auburn that they would walk in wisdom and favor. And that they would continue to create an atmosphere for growth and change in our city.
  
• Pray for all the churches in Auburn, Carl, Winder, Dacula that they would experience a supernatural spiritual hunger like never before.
  
  
• Pray for our Troops and their families.
  
  
• Pray for missionaries everywhere that they would experience the provision of God to continue to preach and teach the gospel. And that God would continue to protect those who are in dangerous situations.
  


• Youth Ministry and Children's Ministry, growth and direction


• Barrow and Gwinnett County businesses would prosper
