Our Vision and Purpose

Based on Habakkuk 2:2 we believe that our purpose and vision should be easy to remember and powerful!

"Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by." - Amplified Bible

PURPOSE - establishes existence
The purpose of Lifeway Church is to change individual lives in order to affect our city, change our nation and touch the world with the good news of God's Son, Jesus Christ.

VISION - establishes direction
Our vision is to create a strong local church in Auburn where all people are welcome, a place where individuals and families can grow and flourish in faith as they discover God's plan for their lives.

In an increasingly complex world we strive to "keep it simple" and stay "people focused". In the book of Acts, the first Christians followed no church growth plan except, "PRAY and OBEY". True success comes from following the Head of the Church - Jesus Christ.

Obviously our tactical long term and short term goals evolve as we grow. We are in constant planning and preparation for the next step with our Advisory Board and team leaders. Each month we seek God and re-evaluate where we are and where He wants us to move toward in each area of Lifeway Church.
