The cup…how do you see it?

Half full or half empty?…that is the question.

Being an optimist requires a decision. You must decide that you are an optimist before you will ever act like one.

Being able to the see best in every situation is a developed response.

Everyone is born into this negative world where the majority of people can think of a million reasons why they can’t do something verses one reason why they can.

We are all on a level playing field when it comes to choosing a positive attitude. I have never had a day yet where a positive attitude overtakes me before my feet hit the floor in the morning. Most days I have more than one situation where I must choose to either press on positively or fold up and be destroyed.

Proverbs says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This truth is a lot more than the mere power of positive thinking, it is a spiritual force that allows us to see things as they are and succeed in life.

Decide that you are going to be the most positive person that you know and you will begin to see the glass MORE than half full.

Go up to the next level.

Enjoy Life

“Men do not quit playing because they grow old; they grow old because they quit playing.”
- Oliver Wendell Holmes

Work hard, play hard!

Take time to have fun. You cannot afford to not invest your time by playing.

If you do not make time to play on a regular basis you will become too serious for your own good.

Find some activity that you can share with your family like hiking, biking, camping or putt-putt golf and get out and get away from the “norm”. It seems we get so busy that we forget to schedule time to venture out and do something fun that we have never done before.

Designate a different person in the family each month with the task of organizing the “fun event” for the month.

Here’s one of many “fun” sites – http://familyfun.go.com/

Life is too short to not have fun…start today…stay young…have fun.

Let God

Romans 12:2 – Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.

We need help with the way we think…DAILY!

One of the greatest goals that we can have for our personal lives is to become more positive each day. We live in such a negative world that it is natural to copy the way the world thinks. In fact, to think the way that God thinks (100% positive all the time) we must “swim up stream” and change our thinking.

We can let God transform our thinking. He wants to. It is His desire for us to think like Him and know His will and purpose for our lives.

When we explore the Word of God each day, we are searching for understanding and wisdom in to the very ways and purposes of God. We are allowing God reveal Himself to us through His word.

The more time that we spend searching for wisdom from the Word of God, the more that we change in the way that we think so that we transform our behavior and know what God wants us to do.

Get into the Bible and let God transform your thinking. You will be grateful you did.

Start a new good habit today!
