God is blamed for many things that people cannot explain.

It is the easy way out to say, “God did it and He’s trying to teach us a lesson.”

From my study of the Bible I can plainly see that God gave us His Word (the Bible) and His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) to teach us. He does NOT use circumstances to teach us.

What kind of lesson are you going to learn from calamity?

Most people get mad at the one that they believe (or are told) put them in the middle of calamity.

I have never heard anyone pray…”Thank you Lord for this calamity…I am learning from it…give me some more, PLEASE!”

How absurd. (Natural fathers do not bring calamity or pain on their children to teach them a lesson!)

The Bible plainly teaches that it is the goodness and mercy and grace and long suffering of the Lord that leads us to repent. (Romans 2:4 – Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?)

God is trying to teach us a lesson BUT not by circumstances…He uses His Word and Spirit every time!!

God is good…all the time!
