Don’t wait, encourage today!

Go ahead and step across the line of complacency.

People are waiting for you to encourage them.

Start with those that are the closest to you. Spouse, children, Mother, Father, relative, friend, neighbor, store clerk,…

All it takes is: "you can do it!", "that is a nice looking outfit that you have on.", "I think that you are brilliant!", "God made you and you are special!"

What a small investment for such rich dividends!

It is an awesome thing to think that today you have a part to play in someone’s future.

Be an encourager. In fact, be the best one that you know!

Thanksgiving e x t e n d e d

Why can’t we extend Thanksgiving?

It seems that retailers extend the Christmas season each year. (for their purposes…)

Let’s be thankful more. Be creative in giving thanks.

Write a note to your mother and/or father thanking them for what they have done for you.

Think about someone in your past that has influenced your life and write them a thank you note.

Write a note to your current employer or boss thanking them for allowing you to work. (I think that they will have a hard time remembering the last time an employee wrote them a "good" note)

Begin to look around at the things that the Lord has done for you and extend THANKSGIVING!

Set your hope anew

So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.

One “thanks” leads to another!

Begin to thank the Lord for just one thing that you can think about and it will ALWAYS lead to another!!

We have a lot to be thankful for! Just begin to think and THANK!

The very fact that God has given us the breath that we are breathing at this moment is enough to begin to thank Him.

After you have thanked God for all that you can think of…go to your family members and begin to thank them for all that they are and do for you.

Your life, your attitude and your current situation can change quickly and dramatically if you choose to THANK!

Be thankful and then be contagious!

Attitude of Gratitude

Regarding thankfulness…

Colossians 3 and 1 Thessalonians 5 instruct us to be thankful.

Col 3:15 – …And always be thankful.

1 Thess. 5:18 – No matter what happens, always be thankful…

Before we can actually be thankful we must have an attitude of gratitude. Our minds must be purposefully thinking about the ways that God has blessed us.

We can train our mind to constantly consider the blessings of God.

One particular day in the past, I was dealing with many things. The pressure was on.
