Don’t let the Grinch steal your Christmas

There is a grinch in every crowd (…or family). Different name, same spirit…negative, down and sour.

You must determine, ahead of time, that no one is going to rob your reason to celebrate.

Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the living God was born and we celebrate His birth!

You have every right to have the best Christmas of your life!

Pray for all the "difficult" people in your life, that God would open their eyes so that they will recognize their blessings and move from being mostly negative to be mostly positive.

When you pray for someone it unlocks a door

Can you hear what I hear?

Faith to hear the Father’s voice.

Many people say they never hear the voice of God.

Is He not speaking, or are we not listening?

The birth of Jesus recorded in the Bible is full of ordinary people hearing the voice of God!

Mary
Joseph
Elizabeth
The Wise Kings
The Shepards
Simeon and Anna
and more!

Begin to expect to hear the voice of God. Just stop, close your eyes and say, "Yes Lord, I hear Your voice and I will do what You tell me to do." (this is an act of faith)

You can be sure that you will begin to hear His voice more clearly than ever before.

He wants you give you direction and wisdom for your life more than you know.

He will speak to you through His word and by His Spirit.

Do you hear His voice?

Heaven and Nature Sing

Joy to the world!

If heaven and nature is singing, why don’t you?

The word of God says that if we fail to praise God, the rocks will! (Luke 19:40)

Don’t be outdone by a bunch of rocks, begin to praise the Lord. "Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts." – Eph. 5:19

We have much to be singing about.

Tha fact that you are alive today proves that God has a purpose and plan for your life today! Rejoice and sing to the Lord!

If you think that you can’t sing and you do not even like your own voice, find a worship CD and sing with the singers on the CD. It will do you good.

Don’t allow a rock to take your place.

Christmas is because of Christ

Just a brief "weight-in" on the subject of "Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays"…

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the frontpage of MSN.com. It said "Christians struggle to put Christ back into Christmas."

I immediately thought, "Christ was never out of Christmas. There would be no Christmas without Jesus Christ!"

It is time to be bold and sincerely wish everyone that you see a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I refuse to be silent and do the politically correct thing by not using the word "Christmas" because it might offend someone. People that are offended by someone wishing them a "Merry Christmas" will find a thousand more reasons to be offended after you say "Merry Christmas"

I think that as Christians we have lost the focus of Christmas to the point where a great number of people are wanting Christmas to become a historical celebration that is no longer celebrated.

You have a voice. A loud one.

Use it to be a blessing a say Merry Christmas to everyone you see! (And be ready to share with them the real and only reason for Christmas.

You are not insignificant in the least!

During this time of the year I like to ponder the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. Each year the Spirit of God reveals something more.

How many of us would have chosen Joseph to be the husband of Mary and in the "eyes of the world" – Jesus’ earthly father?

[Now I am NOT saying that Joseph was the earthly father of Jesus. The Bible states that when people began to take note of who Jesus was and the deeds that He did, they said, "he's just the son of a carpenter...". The world viewed Him as Joseph's son.]

But…Joseph…who was he? Why Joseph? He did have a part in the plan.

Most people focus on Mary, but Joseph walked by faith, heard the voice of the Lord…and obeyed!

He may have been "just a carpenter" to the people of Nazareth but he was significant in the eyes of Almighty God. He listened to God and obeyed. He was significant!

You too are significant! No matter where you were born, where you live, or what you do. God has His eye on you. He knows your address and desires to use you in great ways to influence many people! Listen to His voice and obey all that He instructs you to do. Be a blessing.
