What do you think of when you think of Cracker Jacks?
The great tasting caramel coated popcorn and peanuts OR the great "little surprise" in the box?
You may say, "oh I like the popcorn and peanuts a whole lot more than the little surprise!" If so, then why do we tear open the box and pour out the carmel coated mixture so that we can get the prize in about 2 seconds flat?!
Because WE EXPECT! We know what the popcorn and peanuts taste like BUT we don’t know what kind of prize we are going to get.
We HOPE we get a good little prize, something that we have never gotten before.
Expectation is a powerful thing, it sets our faith in a certain direction!
We can expect God to be true to his Word and do all that He said that He would do concerning us!
Don’t quit expecting, keep your hope UP and know that God’s Word is ultimate authority!
