Attitude’s Impact On Life

Posted by Pastor Bruce on August 3, 2007

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string that we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes." – Chuck Swindoll

So very well said there is nothing at all to add!

Let’s change the world around us by choosing the right attitude and by doing so we are being the witness that we were created to be.

You are what you eat

Posted by Pastor Bruce on August 2, 2007

You are what you eat…spiritually speaking.

If there is little to no intake of the word of God then there cannot be any spiritual growth and there will not be any spiritual strength in our lives.

I Peter 2:2 – Like newborn babies, creave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up…[NLT]

This scripture does not say that we are newborn babies…it says ACT like one when it comes to desiring the word of God!

We need to acknowledge a constant hunger for the word!

Begin to constantly say to yourself, "I am hungry for the word of God…" and you WILL
