At Lifeway Church we have declared the year of 2009 – The Year of The Word of God!

This is the year that we put the Word of God first place in our lives, first place in our families and first place in our church.

Job 23:12 -  I have not gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed and treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

We desperately need His Word.

The Word works in every season, in every country, in every language and in every economy.

The Word of God knows no recession, depression or hard times.

Joshua 1:8 – Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed.

A successful 2009 will depend on how much of the Word of God that we meditate on, and obey.

Won’t you dare to declare 2009 as the Year of The Word of God?
