Get the strife out
Strife will stop growth and open the door to all kinds of wickedness…let’s see
James 3:16

(AMP)  For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.

(CEV)  Whenever people are jealous or selfish, they cause trouble and do all sorts of cruel things.

(KJVR)  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

(Moffatt NT) for wherever jealousy and rivalry exist, there disorder reigns and every evil.

(msg) Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats.

(NIV)  For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

(NKJV)  For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

(nlt) For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and every kind of evil.

Strife is deadly. Some Christians wonder why they stop growing and they are not experiencing all of God’s best when they continue to cause and/or allow strife.

Strife causes division in local churches, families and will stop growth.

You are responsible for you. Don’t wait for others to get “right” or make things right.
