Forgave

Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]. Col. 3:13 [AMP]

He forgave us. Past tense…once and for all. All people for all time.

The blood of Jesus is the basis for the forgiveness of God. He gave Himself in order that God the Father could forgive us so the the relationship between and God and man would be restored.

AND He forgave us SO that we could forgive each other.

The word of God commands us to forgive one another. If you love God, you will obey God and you will forgive….period.

This sounds harsh and hard but it is really the highest form of love. He gave so that we could give, he forgave so that we could forgive.

The U.S. is us

National Day of Prayer 2009

The Body of Christ in America is responsible to pray for America.

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV

If we don’t pray, who will?

We should not spend time cursing the darkness in America when we could use that same time and energy praying and speaking God’s Word over our nation! Jesus said that this side of heaven we would have tribulation and that things would be less than perfect…don’t be surprized….PRAY!

Prayer changes us and opens the door for God to move in our land.

Let’s humble ourselves, seek His face, turn from our will and our ways and PRAY! He does hear and He does respond!

He still “…desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”  THANK GOD!

Under your nose

The most powerful part of your body lives directly under your nose!

Proverbs 18:21 – Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit – you choose. [MSG]

If we had to count to 10 before we spoke a word we would say far less.

People who have had surgery on their mouth and have their mouth wired shut have to write on a pad of paper while they are healing. During this time they learn the value of their words. Each word is precious, valuable and weighty.

We create a life, full of life, or full of death by the words we speak on a consistant basis. It is natural to steer clear of people that are constantly spewing death, doubt and fear. God created us to gravitate toward the light!

Guard your heart and your mouth by speaking what God speaks and you will have God’s result (blessing) in your life!
