Long Life

Live long and live strong! “With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” – Psalms 91:16 NKJV

This is God’s promise for you today! His desire is that you grow old and be totally satisfied with your life to the extent that you have accomplished all that He created you to do in this life. It is not God’s will that anyone’s life is cut short. Tragedy happens…but it is NOT God’s will. His desire is the same for all people and that is that each one of us grow old and pass from this life into the next life free from sickness.

Don’t by the lie that you have to get sick to die. Believe that God can renew your strength like the eagle’s and you will live a productive and long life. The Word of god declares that we can live 120 years! And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” – Genesis 6:3 NKJV

The key to long life is found in Isaiah - But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31 NKJV – Waiting on the Lord, attending to His Word, keeping them before your eyes day and night will enable you to succeed in all that He has called you to do in the long life that He provides!

Believe God for a long life and live in His Word!

He Healed Them ALL

Jesus never turned anyone away that needed healing. When they came to Him believing, they were healed. To get a clear picture of the will of God for physical healing we must look at the ministry of Jesus while He was here on this earth.

“…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” – Acts 10:38 NKJV

Just go through the Gospels and look up the scriptures that refer to Jesus healing and you will notice the use of the word ALL. ALL means all…everyone there at that time. This is consistent with the Word of God in other places that reveal God’s character as a giver. He loves and He gives to ALL. (James 1 says that He gives liberally!) God loves to give and withholds nothing from those that love Him and reach out in faith.

The enemy comes to us with thoughts that we are the exception and that God is withholding His healing power, but glory to God, Jesus came to heal ALL that were oppressed by the devil! You are part of that group of people called ALL! Know that God loves you TODAY, and that He sent Jesus to earth to take stripes upon His back for your healing TODAY! All means all! He healed them ALL. (that means you!)

I shall be made whole

For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” – Mark 5:28 NKJV – The woman who was dying made a decision to SAY something. She knew that Jesus was healing and that He was the healer. She knew that the power that He walked in would cause her body to change. She was convinced. But she went one step further…she dared to put her mouth where her faith was…she SAID!

Our faith and our words have much to do with whether we are made whole or not. Healing belongs to us but we take it by what we believe and what we say. Our words must line up with God’s Word if we are to see the Word of God manifested in our lives. It is not an automatic thing…you have a part to play. You have a response-to-His-ability!

If you desire to be well and healed what are you saying? Take God at His word and say what the women with the issue of blood said, “I shall be made whole.” Then reach out and receive the power of God to heal your body! Be whole!

The Healer and His Healing

Healing comes from the Healer. Are we seeking only healing? Look at this…“And it came about that while he was in one of the towns, there was a leper there: and when he saw Jesus he went down on his face in prayer to him, saying, Lord, if it is your pleasure, you have power to make me clean.” Luke 5:12 (BBE)

This man was in need. He was living death. No cure, cut off from everyone around him that was “normal”. Dying a slow horrible death.

He heard about Jesus and decided that Jesus could make him whole again. He risked what little life he had to find Jesus and when he found Jesus, he worshipped Him. He bowed down with respect and reverence. He recognized Jesus as  Healer and not someone with a “quick fix” for his physical condition.

One of the issues that we deal with in receiving healing is looking for the hand of God in healing when we need to seek His face as our Father. When we focus on and give attention to the God side of healing, then the “man side” (our response to His ability) becomes so natural. Worship the Healer.

Feed your faith

“…because your faith is growing exceedingly and the love of every one of you each toward the others is increasing and abounds.” – 2 Thessalonians 1:3 AMP Our faith is designed to grow. The most obvious next question is how does it grow?

If faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17),  then faith must begin to grow through hearing the Word of God. Faith is founded on our trust in God. The more we trust God, the more faith that we have in God and His promises to us (His Word). The more that we know Him, the more that we trust Him.  The way that we get to know God is through His Word! God and His Word are one.

If faith begins where the will of God is known (from His Word) then faith will continue to build and grow from a steady diet of the Word of God! Let’s feed our faith today and starve those doubts to death! Anybody hungry for the Word?
