But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” – Luke 8:50 NKJV What Jesus was saying to Jairus was in essence, “Your believing My word and My promise is greater than all the fear that the bad news is bringing right now.”

When bad news comes (and it does), ONLY BELIEVE. Believe God’s Word above all else. When you don’t know what to say (or you are tempted to say the wrong thing) don’t say anything at all. Sometimes the best thing that we can say is nothing…but never stop believing. If you must say something, speak the Word. Connect your mouth with the promises of God that you have put in your heart.

Believers believe. Are you a believer?, then let’s believe. Believe God for His best. Don’t settle for less.
