Be Not Faithless, But Believing

Where is faith on the earth these days? “Then said He to Thomas, “Reach hither thy finger and behold My hands, and reach hither thy hand and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.” – John 20:27

The way that you identify what is some one’s heart is by what they say out of their mouth. Just listen to how people talk for 5 minutes and you can tell whether they are in faith or in fear. Whether they are trusting God or whether they are afraid of the circumstances surrounding them.

It does not take any faith to believe in what you see with your eyes. Just ask “doubting Thomas”. How would you like to be know throughout all the ages as “doubting Thomas”? He was faithless. He would only believe if he could touch Jesus hand and side. He did not only have to see “the proof” but he had to touch it! Doubly doubting, how sad.

God is expecting the Body of Christ to rise up and believe Him in this hour! To believe that He is who He says that He is and to do great exploits in His Name! Don’t be faithless today, believe God! Find out who He is and what He has then believe with all your heart.

Watch Your Words

There’s power in your mouth! “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. – Proverbs 18:21 NKJV”

We have the ability to cause life or death…with just our words! Few people ever realize this truth; what you say can either bind you and stop the will of God in your life, or free you to experience all that God has for you. For this reason it is extremely important for us to watch our words. We must perform a self examination of the words that we speak!

It is the plan of the enemy to get us to say whatever comes in our mind the minute it comes in our mind. In fact people take great pride in “telling it like it is”. But if what you are saying is filled with death and is critical, judgemental and condemns others, then it does not need to be said. Just because what you are saying may be the truth it doesn’t make it right to say!

“Help me to guard my words whenever I say something. – Psalms 141:3 CEV” We need to take control over our mouth, watch our words and judge them against the Word of God in Philippians 4:8

For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. – Philippians 4:8 AMP

If we are to think on these things then surely we are to allow only these things out of our mouth! RIGHT?!

New Day, New Grace

This day never existed before. “Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.” – Lamentations 3:22-25 NKJV

One version of the Bible says “His mercies have no limit.” This means that they are endless, renewed every morning! Is grace and mercy are upon us. Each day there is a new challenge that requires a new grace.

We have the opportunity to walk in a deeper measure of His grace each day. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” – Ephesians 3:20 NKJV We either permit or deny God the access He needs to manifest and show His grace and mercy in our life.

When we face the day saying and believing, “The Lord is my portion and His grace is sufficient for me today!” then God is able to make all grace abound toward us for that day. We hold the key through our faith, trust, choice and obedience. Let’s make the choice today to walk in the specific grace for this day! This day is special and God has something great and special for us today! Tap into His grace.

You Were Made to Win

The word “loser” should not be in your vocabulary. “Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.” – Romans 8:37 AMP

This verse in Romans comes right after a verse about suffering, affliction and tribulation. These are the “these things” that verse 37 is talking about! “In all these things” (suffering, affliction and tribulation) we are more than conquerors!

We are not conquered or defeated, we conquer and defeat!

We are called to develop the attitude of Jesus that nothing could stop Him from finishing the will of the Father for His life. (And He didn’t complain about anything that He went through…before, during or after He went through it) Jesus showed us how to live victorious in this life. He was victorious and we can be victorious through Him, everyday!

The reason that we like to win and we like winners is because God created us to win. Paul said (by the Holy Spirit) “I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength!” All means all. Everything that God has called us to do, we can do, and win while we are doing it.

Choose today to believe that you were made a winner. Look for and expect the victory! Don’t give in or give up, we win!

Direction

Where do I go and what do I do? “The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.” – Psalms 23:1 AMP “But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.” – John 14:26 AMP

Our Shepherd guides us. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to live in us, to help us, strengthen us and guide us. He can show us things to come because He lives in eternity. The direction that we are in need of; God has. He knows His will for our lives and is able to get that over to us by His Spirit that lives in us.

When we get “turned around” or “lost” in a place that we have never been before we look for someone that knows that area to help us get back on the road that we need to be on. (Nowadays we have GPS devices that help us) We need to be on the right road to end up where the Lord wants us when He wants us there. The Holy Spirit is the One that gives us our direction! As we seek the Lord and wait on Him He speaks to us and leads us to that place and shows us the next step to take. We have the direction that we need through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
