God’s Will? Jesus Healed!

Jesus’ earthly ministry was the manifest will of God. He went about healing and doing good! (Acts 10:38)

One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, He saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” Then He touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God! – Luke 13:10-13 (NLT)

Healing is always and forever the will of God because Jesus always did the will of the Father. There was never a time in the earthly ministry of Jesus where He withheld or denied someone healing yet there are some today that doubt whether it is God’s will to heal. Leave your doubt and come over to the life-giving truth of God’s Word!

Jesus is God’s will in action and He heals. Hebrews 13:8 declares that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever therefore we know with absolute certainty that He is healing today. Regardless of who believes this truth or who got mad at Jesus for healing on the Sabbath decide to believe the Word of God and align your heart and mouth with His Word.

Say out loud – I believe that Jesus is healing me right now and I receive it! I line my body, my heart and my mouth up with the Word of God and I praise God for my healing! Thank you Jesus for fulfilling the will of the Father!

Faith Can Be Seen

Faith involves action and can be seen. It is the link between the seen and the unseen.

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When JESUS SAW THEIR FAITH, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”  – Matthew 9:2 NKJV

Faith sees what cannot be seen with the human eye in order to bring it into the realm of the seen! We walk by faith and not by sight.

Faith is a whole lot more than just positive confession of God’s Word although it involves a positive confession of God’s Word. When we believe something it affects our actions!

Hebrews 11 is full of people of faith that did mighty exploits by faith. They believed something but because they believed something it caused them to do something. We have a lot of “faith talkers” around but far few “faith doers”. It is time that we transfer what we believe into action. Pray in faith and then get up and do something about it.

I am sure glad that the friends of the paralytic were as filled with faith as their bedridden friend. They must have believed that Jesus was healing and that Jesus would heal their friend to go to the lengths they did to get him into the place where Jesus was ministering that day. They showed their faith by their works for sure! Determine to show your faith, do what you can do and God will do what He has promised you that He would do. Why wait?!

Moved With Compassion

We are called to move toward the unlovely! (not run from them to a place of protection and security)

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. (Mar 1:40-42 NKJV)

Jesus was MOVED with COMPASSION (the love of God in action) toward a leper!

The untouchable man was touched by the Healer! In that instance Jesus displayed for us all that it is God’s will that ALL be healed and whole. He also showed us how we should respond to the untouchable and unlovable…move with the love of God TOWARD them.

If God is going to use us we must go out to where there are hurting people that need a touch. Jesus did not come to earth to be secluded in a cave somewhere only to come out and be crucified when the time was right. The Great Physician came to the wounded ones in order to heal them. We have got to do more moving! Moving toward those who want deliverance and help!

Begin to pray, “Thank you Lord that I am moving with compassion as Jesus did! I see people that are reaching out in faith and move toward them so that you can move through me to meet their need! The love of God moves me to speak to people about their eternal destination. Thank you Lord for using me to bring help, hope and healing to all those around me.”

Hear and Be Healed

Need healing?

and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. – Luke 5:15

And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases – Luke 6:17

It is time to hear…when you need healing… Hear the words of Jesus the Healer! Most people put more faith in the words of the doctor than they do the One who created them. (and it only produces fear, dread, doubt and unbelief)

Quit listening to the doctor as final authority and begin to read, listen and meditate on the words of Jesus! Proverbs 4 says that the words of God are life to those that find them and health to all of our flesh. Time to feed on the word when you are in need of healing…more than the medicine that the “experts” have prescribed.

Romans 10:17 says that faith comes from hearing the Word of God and faith is what is needed when you are believing God for what seems impossible. With God all things are possible…to them that believe.

Hear the Words of Jesus on healing. Believe. Allow those words to fill your mind and heal your body!

It’s The Name

Above all other names – Jesus!

Let it be known and understood by all of you, and by the whole house of Israel, that in the name and through the power and authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom you crucified, [but] Whom God raised from the dead, in Him and by means of Him this man is standing here before you well and sound in body. – Acts 4:10 AMP

Peter and John saw the power of God manifested through the Name of Jesus and pointed to this fact. It was so evident that the Rulers and Council Members threatened them not to speak in “that name” any more.

We need a fresh revelation of the power in the Name of Jesus! Then we need to begin to use His Name when we encounter sickness, disease, poverty and lack. Is it any wonder why the devil fights so hard against the name of Jesus? He persuades people to use it in a cursing way and society accepts it as the norm. But when someone uses Jesus name in a public setting as a means of blessing, people cry, “separation of Church and State…”. How much more diabolical can you get?

Our Father God wants the Body of Christ to wake up to the power in the Name of Jesus in this day and this hour. We must point to the One that can heal, save and deliver – TODAY! Use His Name!
