Whole Heartedly

Do you trust God? …With ALL your heart?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. – Proverbs 3:5-10 NKJV

There are some indicators when we are trusting God with ALL of our heart.

  1. We will not lean on (rely or depend on) our own understanding. (Everything does not have to make sense to us.)
  2. We are acknowledging Him in all of our ways and in everything that we do.
  3. We will be humble (teachable). Always asking the Lord for more wisdom and quick to obey what He says.
  4. We will revere the Lord and His Word turning from all sin.
  5. We will honor the Lord with our possessions knowing that everything belongs to and comes from Him.

To trust in God with all of our heart is to have complete faith in Him and His Word. He will do just what He said that He would. We just need to find out and focus on what He said more than what our mind or the enemy says. We come to know the Father through His Word. The more that we know Him, the more that we will trust Him. Our goal is to be wholehearted!

El Shaddai not El Cheapo

God is more than enough.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. – Psalms 23:5 KJV

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19 AMP

The supply of God is always greater than the need! He just wants us to recognize Him as our sole source!

We are not looking for a handout from Him but rather seeking His face with all of our heart. His desire for us is that we prosper and be in health as our soul prospers! 3John2

He wants our houses to be filled with wealth and riches. Psalm 112:3 God has designed us to be filled to the full and running over so that we have so much that we have to give some away! (and be like Him in the area of giving)

God does not just want us to barely get by and make it by the skin of our teeth but be adequately supplied so that the world gets the accurate picture of just how big God is! Bigger than big and greater than great! He is our Father and takes good care of us when we stretch out our faith and declare that our God is MORE THAN ENOUGH!

By His Stripes

A substitution took place 2000 years ago! His healing for your sickness. “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you WERE healed.”- 1 Peter 2:24 NKJV

Jesus carried our sins to the cross but that was not all that He was carrying. He had every one of our sicknesses and diseases placed on Him as well. He settled the sin AND sickness questions. His act of obedience in going to the cross and laying down His life delivered us from sin and sickness. Forever settled in heaven and earth. He has provided healing. It is a done deal. Signed sealed and delivered to you. All you must do is receive it by faith. What was given by grace must be received by faith. Trust Him and His word, believe that He has provided and take it for yourself.

If we were healed when Jesus went to the cross then we are healed today in 2009! Good news! Remind your body and remind the devil what Jesus did for you 2000 years ago! The Bible says, “Let the weak say I AM STRONG!” We can also say, let the sick say, “I AM HEALED! By Jesus stripes!” Believe and receive today.

Too Good

But as it is written: “EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV

“Too good” is a relative term. Too good compared to what?

Our Father God is good but way more than we have experienced up to this point in our life! He has much more that you have not experienced, YET!

This verse is not talking about things that He will bless us with, “When we all get to heaven…” BUT things that He wants to bless us with in the “here and now”! He is not just a God of the future or the past, He is a loving Father – TODAY! The Word declares that our Heavenly Father desires to give us good things TODAY!

Let’s go to His Word and find out what He has already blessed us with (Ephesians 1:3) and come to know that His goodness is: WAY GOOD & TOO GOOD! So much so that we must share it and let others see and know that our Father has more for them too! Get into His GOODNESS, go deeper.
